SteelSeries Arctis 7 wireless gaming headset is on sale for $100

This wireless headset uses the same speaker drivers as much pricier headsets from SteelSeries.

Our favorite wireless gaming headset is the SteelSeries Siberia 800, which sells for around $210. That's a steep asking price. If you're looking for something more affordable, SteelSeries' Arctis 7 is on sale at Amazon for $100.
We haven't sampled the Arctis 7, but according to SteelSeries, the 40mm neodymium drivers are the same as found in higher end options, presumably the Siberia 800 and Siberia 840.
"The same speaker drivers found in our flagship $300 headsets, the S1 drivers are engineered to deliver a detailed, balanced soundscape with ultra-low distortion," SteelSeries says.
SteelSeries also claims lag-free 2.4GHz wireless performance with up to 24 hours of battery life, and a wireless range of 12m. It can also be plugged in with a 1.2m cable.
The Arctis 7 is the highest end model in the Arctis line that was introduced a year ago. Out of the four available models, the Arctis 7 is one two with DST Headphone:X support.
