[XTRAP UPDATE] Scheduled on May 16, 2017

Attention, CF Nation!

To the CrossFire clients that are experiencing XTrap error with dsreg.dll, this is due to the Windows Update KB4016871 or KB4019472. To temporarily fix this, uninstalling the said update must be done.

For guides onto unistalling an update, simply go to (Windows Update Setting -> Update History -> Uninstall Updates) and look for KB4016871 or KB4019472 (depends on the Windows 10 version installed), then uninstall, then restart your pc.
(Guide: https://www.howtogeek.com/235474/how-to-roll-back-builds-and-uninstall-updates-on-windows-10/)

The XTrap fix for this false detection is scheduled on May 16, 2017. Once the XTrap fix has been patched, updating KB4016871 or KB4019472 wont have any conflict to XTrap.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sincerely,
CrossFire Management
